I'm curious about them too. But my instincts say that to work "undecteted" by the owner of a computer it would have to be very sophisticated and cost more than $100. So I would think only available to gov. agencies. But no idea at all! Also we live in a world of lawsuits in the US anyway, so for private use; my guess it would be limited to parents watching their kids or something similiar. The ads on google about them sound unbelievable--but that's the way of advertizing for all products today.
I have the traditional kind that I have downloaded onto my machine at home. It's from SpectroPro. It cost me 80.00 and works very well. Does
exactly what was advertized. Key logger, screen snapshots, e-mails, websites. It records everything and works virtually silent in the background.
But software has to be downloaded first on computer. If you wanted to monitor say your ex-girlfriend's computer and you no longer have access to the machine undetected, then you will need remote-spy programs. Apperently, you send an innocent looking e-mail to the person and hope
he or she opens it on thier personal computer. When they open the attachment, hidden in the attachment is a download from the spy program.
It starts recording everything on that machine and stores it in an activity log that only you have access to. Remote spy.
These are a couple of company's selling it. Just want to know if anyone here has tried these and do they work as well as SpectroPro.
